Lead consultant - from inception to completion

Design Team - Collaboration and roles

Surveys - Survey and investigation of buildings, building elements and materials to understand the factors contributing to the building’s condition.

Reports - Preparation and submission of reports on the condition of the building/element, including recommendations for repair strategies and phasing.

Consents & Approvals - Preparation of the documentation required by local authorities, Historic England, and Diocesan committees as part of the Listed Building/Faculty application process.

Proposals - Development of repair and design proposals for tender to contractors/sub-contractors.

Specification - Specification of materials and techniques necessary to preserve and conserve historic fabric and new components necessary as part of the design.

Contract Admin - Administration of contracts between clients and contractors as part of the restoration/refurbishment project. 

Consultancy/ Advice – offering advice developing a brief for an historic building project, or on the repair of specific building materials within a larger refurbishment project.
